Yura Adams’s window installation, Marvel’s Paradise, was a tableau of freestanding, cut-out photographic and sculptural forms which were animated with motors. Activated figures, altered machines, and a television set all combined to convey a “Heaven-in-the-USA-Today” experience. Adams, an intermedia artist who has presented performance and installation work on both the West and East Coast, also performed at the 1984 New Music America Festival in Hartford, Connecticut.
